Nike Air Force 1 “Closing Ceremonies”

With the 2008 Beijing Olympics coming to a close this weekend, Nike is closing things out with a commemerative pair of Air Force 1s. Fashioned in bright metallic gold, the upper of the sneaker is adorned with a Chinese motif. The package also features special packaging in the form of a black 08/08/08 box. Available starting August 25th.

An uber directional hi-top sneaker from new New York based designer Alejandro Ingelmo. This futuristic style is constructed from top quality materials with a silver mirrored metallic upper, black leather inner and tongue, black laces and a black rubber sole. Apple Rumors from Kevin Rose (Digg.com) - New iPods

Latest rumors:
- Revamp of entire iPod line.
- Small cosmetic changes to Touch, Nano to see significant redesign (see pic below).
- iPods to see fairly large price drops to distance itself from the $199 iPhone.
- iPod touch 2.1 software, iPhone to get update very soon after.
- iTunes 8.0 (”it’s a big update w/new features”).
- All of this coming in the next 2-3 weeks.

Globe-Trotter bulletproof case.

Globe-Trotter, the British luggage designer which since 1897 has furnished luxury carryalls for the likes of Queen Elizabeth II and Winston Churchill, will soon add another formidable piece to its collection: a bulletproof case designed by Ross Lovegrove. Weighing in at under three pounds, it’s the lightest rigid suitcase of its kind.
